Boycott Chevron
Drive Past Chevron Until They Fix Their Mess in Ecuador
Published on Sep 12, 2013
For three decades, Chevron's predecessor pumped billions of gallons of toxic waste into the Ecuadorian Amazon. After twenty years of fighting, the communities living with Chevron's legacy of disease and death won $18.1 billion in damages for the destruction of their land. But Chevron won't pay. After all that Chevron has done to these communities, Cher can't feel right about Chevron until they make it right for their victims in the Amazon. Every time we fill our gas tanks, we have a choice to make, and until Chevron pays the Ecuadorians villagers, we shouldn't pay Chevron. Drive past.
