Bright, Light DIY School Bus — Beautiful Build with No Prior Building Experience

Sept 2022 - Ave and Des are a young married couple that dove into building their dream rig for a life of adventure on the road. This Thomas skoolie is a gorgeous DIY build! The modern layout is open and bright as they kept as many of the windows as possible and decorated with light colors. The Walnut, Oak, and Osage Orangewood were gathered from a local farm and used throughout the bus. The tile and stonework in the bathroom are stunning and accentuate the small roof-raise allowing for space in the shower. Ave and Des chose to keep the wheelchair lift for easy access to the garage, storing a moped and other outdoor gear. You can imagine the many sunset views these two explorers have enjoyed from the 14ft roof deck!
