The 152-mm Guided Projectile “Krasnopol” On The Strongholds Of The Ukrainian Army by: Itapirkanmaa2

Jan. 2, 2023 - Artillery of the NM of the DPR with the guided 152-mm projectile "Krasnopol" on the strongholds of the Kiev Regime. By: Itapirkanmaa2

Krasnopol: The 2K25 Krasnopol[8][9][10] is a Soviet 152/155 mm cannon-launched, fin-stabilized, base bleed-assisted, semi-automatic laser-guided, artillery weapon system. It automatically 'homes' on a point illuminated by a laser designator, typically operated by a drone or ground-based artillery observer. Krasnopol projectiles are fired mainly from Soviet self-propelled howitzers such as the 2S3 Akatsiya and 2S19 Msta-S and intended to engage small ground targets such as tanks, other direct fire weapons, strong-points, or other significant point targets visible to the observer. It can be used against both stationary and moving targets (providing these remain within the observer's field of view).

The 2K25 Krasnopol system[14] consists of the 30F39 guided shell, a 1D22, 1D20, or 1D15 laser target designator (LTD), and the 1A35 shot synchronization system. The laser designation system has a range of 5 kilometres (3.1 mi), while the projectile itself has a range of 20 kilometres (12 mi)[15] and a target seeker radius of 1 kilometre (0.62 mi).[14] The two-part projectile is divided into the following sections: target seeker, guidance module, warhead and rear compartment. The seeker and guidance module are stored as a single component in sealed container, as is the rear section with warhead; this allows the oversized projectile to be loaded and transported inside existing ammunition containers in legacy self-propelled howitzers. The two components are joined immediately prior to firing. WiKi

Comment: "Russian army has about 350000 ground combat forces including Donetsk and Luhansk forces, compared to Ukraine who started mandatory mobilization and drafts bringing Ukraine's ground combat force to 900000 personnel. the reason Ukraine mobilized this many, is because Russia despite being a smaller ground force have a 21 to 1 advantage in heavy equipment and overall firepower and thus Ukraine must displace it by throwing in as many people as the can muster. this has complicated, slowed the operation heavily and is has been successful in locking the Russian army in place at the cost of very very high casualties for Ukraine, but it has been successful. this was the situation for the past several months. recently Russia is beginning to try break the lock by their mobilization of an additional 300000 personnel to double their total personnel. this process has been slow as it has taken months to train these up to standard and also Russia has to manufacture massive amounts of equipment so they can maintain the firepower advantage that has let them hold out against such a large army for so long and use it with the additional personnel to break up and ultimately break up and defeat the Ukrainian army. the process of training and equipping this large mobilized force will take time for them to be as combat capable as necessary. until they are ready, the Russian army wont be making any risky large moves with their forces currently stretched thin." by: @dprov1877

Russian BMPT ‘TERMINATOR – BORZZIKMAN

Dec. 15, 2022 - What we previously saw only during parades on Red Square is now in the real combat zone. The crew commander of one of the tank support combat vehicles (BMPT) "Terminator" of the Third Army Corps of the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces said that the Ukrainian army, along with foreign mercenaries, is very afraid of Russian Terminators. At the same time, according to the crew commander, ''the Ukrainians are making every effort to capture at least one terminator, most likely to hand over to the Americans for further study.'' Meanwhile, military experts note that Russia continues to test its new types of weapons in actual combat mode at full speed. One of these weapons is the tank support combat vehicle (BMPT) "Terminator", which has already shown its high efficiency on the battlefield. Experts note that Russia continues to test on the battlefield and improve in real-time the combat use of new equipment and weapons.

Russia Deployed Its Newest Miniaturized EW Moskito Drones In Ukraine

Nov. 28, 2022 - By Borzzikman: Western intelligence agencies began to convey disturbing news to the Kyiv authorities. In particular, many Ukrainian telegram channels, citing reliable sources in the president’s office, claim that the British Mi-6 conveyed to the Kyiv authorities information that Russia not only doubled the serial production of kamikaze drones ''Lancet'' but also began to use its latest ''Mosquito'' drones on the battlefield. And a few days later after these reports, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the fact that the Russian army began to use these latest drones. Moreover, war correspondents report that they began to see these drones on the battlefield quite often. The uniqueness of this drone lies in the fact that it is essentially a flying miniature electronic warfare system. This drone was created on the basis of the unmanned aerial vehicle 'Orlan-10'.

Russians Vaporize Ukraine Army Positions In Lyman Direction & Prevent Counteroffensive

More deadly than conventional explosives, thermobaric weapons can vaporize matter.

Nov. 22, 2022 - Horror as thermobaric missile launcher vaporised Ukrainian positions in Donetsk region. Russians hit fortified areas in the Lyman direction & prevented a Ukrainian fightback. Russia unleashed brutal bombardment using the feared TOAS-1A thermobaric missile launcher. Far more dangerous than conventional explosives, thermobaric weapons can vaporize bodies. Thermobaric weapons spray fuel vapour; the cloud is then ignited by a second blast. The main damage is inflicted by the thermobaric (temperature and pressure) effect.

What is Thermobaric?

thermobaric weapon, also called an aerosol bomb, a vacuum bomb or a fuel air explosive (FAE),[1] is a type of explosive that uses oxygen from the surrounding air to generate a high-temperature explosion. The fuel–air explosive is one of the best-known types of thermobaric weapons.

Thermobaric weapons are almost 100% fuel and as a result are significantly more energetic than conventional explosives of equal weight.[2] Many types of thermobaric weapons can be fitted to hand-held launchers,[3] and can also be launched from airplanes. The largest Russian bomb contains a charge of approximately 7 tons of a liquid fuel that when detonated creates an explosion of 39.9 tons TNT equivalent.[4]

The term thermobaric is derived from the Greek words for 'heat' and 'pressure': thermobarikos (θερμοβαρικός), from thermos (θερμός) 'hot' + baros (βάρος) 'weight, pressure' + suffix -ikos (-ικός) '-ic'.

Other terms used for the family of weapons are high-impulse thermobaric weapons, heat and pressure weapons, vacuum bombs, and fuel-air explosives.

Why Are Russian Lancet Suicide Drones So Dangerous and Scary?

Nov. 8, 2022 - Russia claims its Lancet loitering munition (or ‘suicide,’ ‘kamikaze’ drone) has a first-of-its-kind anti-laser jamming technology that makes it immune to many anti-drone systems. Russian loitering munitions like Lancet and KYB (or ‘Cuba’ as it has come to be popularly referred to) manufactured by the Russian company Zala have seen significant success. Secret Weapons

Loitering Munition Strikes Ukrainian Gunboat, A First In Naval Warfare

The Russian-Ukrainian war is increasingly becoming a proving ground for the use of different types of drones in various domains. While the world has witnessed the efficiency of unmanned systems since the beginning of the war, the recent attack shows for the first time that loitering munitions can be effective in naval warfare too. Russia Brings On The Ukrainian Battlefield the ATGM Tank Killer ‘Chrysanthemum-S’ by: BORZZIKMAN

Chrysanthemum-S

Nov. 27, 2022 - It became known that Russia began to test its latest anti-tank systems in Ukraine. In particular, we are talking about a modernized version of the land-based anti-tank missile system 'Chrysanthemum-S', which has been used on the battlefield since the very beginning of hostilities. Against the background of the loud advertising squeal of the Western media about the innumerable merits of the American anti-tank weapon Javelin and the Anglo-Swedish NLAW, the journalists of the same Western media are trying to bypass the discussion of the Russian land-based anti-tank missile system 'Chrysanthemum-S', which was recognized by all military experts as the most powerful anti-tank weapon. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (as of November 24, 2022), more than 7,000 tanks and armored vehicles from NATO countries were destroyed on the battlefield. According to military experts, the Russian army was able to achieve such impressive results mainly thanks to the anti-tank missile system 'Chrysanthemum-S'.
